I am getting married!!!!
This was the most amazing Christmas ever….I was absolutely floored….No idea whatsoever..
He also bought me a Nikon D60…..I am the luckiest woman in the world…A home wedding. I cannot wait to be his Wife!!!!

Can’t write much…too excited to speak or think or sit still even.

Summer Vows

I dream of Summer, warmth, closeness, and enjoying the sights it brings…..
I say this now, as I sit watching the snow, wrapping gifts, dreaming of whats to be and whats to come

This is meant to be, the love is too intense, the family too eager, the life too perfect….if there was ever such a too perfect…yes, I promise to always Love you….I undestand the need,….the want…..wanting so long….
I too understand what it is to settle, to think this was the one you were supposed to spend your life with, because they were just there…..
We now together share a love so strong, nothing can divide us.
Adam and Daphne, are such amazing people, I love them just to death….laughing together, staying up late watching movies, talking about common people…..
I haven’t even left yet, and I already am planning our Summer trip….
Valentine’s day is coming upon us quick, a night in the Gatineau Hills, in a cottage in the snow….what a beautiful way to share our time together..
Then Spring will be upon us…its already a busy season…outings with friends, weekend skiing trip planned, trip to Gatineau, staying in Ottawa one night coming up soon…phew
This is a beautiful time, one that holds no more stress, for He takes it away…..no matter how frustrated I get, He always drops everything to come and sit with me until I tell Him whats wrong, and then He always….Always fixes it.
What more can I ask for??

This has been a wonderful Christmas vacation so far…..I have all the boys gifts bought…
I hope they like what I got them…I know they will but still, everyone wonders right?

What did he get me…..making such an ordeal about the surprise…..His friends know…..sigh…..only 3 more sleeps until I know….
Staying at Momma Jocelyn’s Christmas Eve….so Matt can open his gifts when he wakes up…
The suspense is driving me crazy, in a delicious fashion…

Snow Day

Its a lazy home day for Matt and I, it snowed for more than 24 hours and although the schools remain open, if busses are cancelled, I give him the day off too…..
We had a fun night last night, the 3 of us playing in the snow, Nathan and I wresting each other down…ending up laying there in each others arms, just enjoying it. The feelings, of knowing you found the Right one…no words can describe it.
All the little words, the looks, the smiles.
No more arguing, tears to get their way.
We have been together for over a year and we still haven’t argued …(knock on wood)
If he feels I am upset at all he makes sure to get whatever is the problem out of me….goes miles out of his way to make me smile.
I remember when I knew…I just knew He was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with….
One day early spring, I was down, just down and out….hadn’t seen him in a couple weeks, busy with work and whatnot….I logged off the computer, stating I was just going to nap the day away…I guess he knew I was sad, the next thing I knew..he was walking in my bedroom door, snuggling into bed with me….
Drove 2 hours to my house, to spend 4 hours with me, only to drive 2 hours home again..
Thats Love..thats concern…
Thats why I love my Soldier.
I think…I think he got Matt a Wii….that would rock so much….best step dad ever….I think thats the realization now, He loves being a Dad…and lucky him he got to miss all the diapers and midnight feedings…
We are going home soon, home.
I hope we get posted out this summer, crossing my fingers….I love this place I truly truly do, I am just tired of people mentioning his ex every time I turn around. I don’t want to know..I know its funny, but at least once a week someone mentions seeing her, makes a fat joke and we all laugh but, seriously, I avoid going certain places with my girl Sarah, knowing she will be there….
Its funny, how I got called a homewrecker…truly amusing. Like Nathan stated…you cannot wreck something that didn’t exist…Hadn’t loved her in years, since she moved in basically…realized just how dirty a person can be…you learn a lot when you live with someone..
You learn a lot more when they finally move out.
APS is coming soon, but not soon enough.

What a wonderful night…best night in a long time, and that is certainly saying something!
After I got all dressed up for the Christmas Party, he surprised me with a white gold chain and earrings…..
I have never been so in love, people kept commenting on how good we looked together last night, smiling laughing and carrying on….boy can that Man dance!!!

I got a good laugh this morning, when I saw the marketplace ad for the jewellery he bought her, her engagement ring and even selling the ring she bought him..Classy..not only did you keep the ring he bought you, very skanky, but you stole the ring back you bought him….very classy….
Its all in fairness I suppose…bills need to be paid right.
It is a shame however, how pitiful it looks, honestly.
Sigh
Tonight is His Christmas party….he has a surprise for me….wheels are turning as to what it is…..
He won’t even tell me what hes wearing either….arranging for me to be picked up..How Romantic is that.
Less than 20 days and we will be heading home to NB…..I can’t wait oh how I can’t wait.

I love Christmas shopping, I love making gifts..I just love everything lol….its such a wonderful time of year..I am so happy with everything…..
Maybe a new addition to our little family in the Spring….maybe

Really??

What a strange morning already…..love the snowfall…shoveled the driveway by 7:15 after Nathan went to PT, I am a stay home mommy/girlfriend…..why not right..
Besides, I love the workout, keeps me in shape….the small things in life
Already, however, its been a strange morning…….First I find out Adam and Sarah had their limo break down on the way to the airport, then the taxi that was called got him there 10 minutes before his flight back overseas was due to leave….therefore not allowing him to leave, all over again they have to do the heartache of parting….
Then as I am shoveling, in the dark, it still being around 6:50 or so…..a see a van come up the road, no big deal, I did however see two large animals bounding through the headlights….I stopped and watched two very large deer go bouncing across the road into someones backyard……
Wonderful sight…..made me smile at the very least.
I am so happy about life right now, my ex agreed to my changes in access….no more stressing about weekends, Matt can go into Beavers/Scouts, and all the other activities that would run into weekends with no more worrying about missing time……
Nathan is so happy….we are officially on our way to becoming the little family he wants…we are already a family but it was stressful on the two of us. Now we can move and not worry about travel all the time, only the 4 weeks a year…..
Hints are coming more and more…..for many different things, different areas…
Still up in the air about a baby…maybe I am done……maybe I am not done, I really shouldn’t be worrying about it but its on my mind all the time, I love children, and I always wanted a handful, or more if it so arises….
Who knows what the future should hold…we also want to do a lot of travelling…..
I love everything right now, nothing is bothering me anymore, no more harsh words from uncalled sources, live and let live…..
This is my personal blog, and its to anyone’s discretion to read it…..

Less than 20 days and we will be on our way home….

Nerves of steel

Ya right……nervous doesn’t even begin to describe how I am feeling. Positively vibrating from tension,….the unknown bothers me, I usually have a handle on anything coming my way, or I muck my way through it but wow, when it comes to custody battles…….its anyones game at this point.. I just want whats best for our son, and it seems to me that its here, or whereever I may be……
How do you explain to a 7 year old he HAS to go to his Fathers even though he doesn’t want to. Doesn’t understand the logistics yet, all he can see is pain.
I wish I knew why his Dad is harsh with him…..I wish he would remember his father being the same way…..parenting is not a do it now sort of deal…you need to talk to your kids…..
His 2 year old already favors his mom…doesn’t he see a pattern here.
Nathan is taking me this morning, he’s just as nervous as I am……He loves Matt like hes his own, quite frankly I think he does a better job.
To hear a child say Nathan is more of a Dad to me than my own dad….reality sets in, hes growing up, all those times I warned his Dad that he will realize sooner or later, I didn’t need to put him down in front of Matt ever….hes done all his damage on his own…
I love my son more than life itself and I will fight for him tooth and nail…..hell hath no fury….mark my words

I can feel it in the air….

I am so excited, Baskets are coming along wonderfully, just looking at the jars today to put the items in. Homesteading is such an amazing way to live. Material for the blankets I am making is a simple enough task just picking out what for who is the issue….nothing better than curling up on the couch with your baby, crafting away the evenings…..
Ordered some gifts last night for Matt….hope he likes them. We also received our first box of gifts in the mail W00t…..its in the air it is it is……From his Dad and Step-mom; can’t wait to meet them….
Both sides want grandbabies however..lol…kind of cute. Someday, not this day, we have plans to travel Europe next Spring and a baby doesn’t fit into the equation just yet…Europe….I am so looking forward to THAT trip..
In February we are going to Mt Tremblant for a weekend, staying in a ginormous Chalet, I love to ski; its been a while so I will need to refresh myself…I am a pretty active woman so I should hopefully be able to ease into it….
Another weekend is upon us, lazy days around the house, yummy smells emitting from our kitchen, always cooking something in a slowcooker or baking in the oven….

I’m Sorry

Nathan’s Papa passed away yesterday; after a bout of pneumonia…my heart aches more than I care to admit, although I think He senses it…it was a long somber day yesterday followed by a quiet evening in each others arms.
Maybe we will go home…maybe we won’t ……
My heart just aches.
